The Columbia County Agricultural Society has awarded its annual scholarship to Cadence Weiss of Hudson. Ms. Weiss represented Hudson High last year in the School Queen competition, but has been a contestant in the Talent Show and performed with the Columbia Elite Allstars there in past years. She will be attending Hudson Valley Community College this fall to study Criminal Justice.

The scholarship is awarded each year to graduating high school seniors who have participated in the Columbia County Fair as an exhibitor, presenter, volunteer, 4-H kid, Talent Show contestant, employee, or in some other capacity. Once the application is updated for 2027,  it will be available on our website Columbiafair.com. Applications are due by June 1, 2027.
