Old favorites and exciting new acts are in the lineup for this year’s Columbia County Fair.As previously announced, Country star Neal McCoy tops the roster with a performance on the Grandstand’s Main Stage Sunday, August 31 at 4pm. But there is plenty of other dazzling entertainment to experience!Circus Incredible returns with three shows daily. Set up near the South Gate, 2nd and 7th generations of the world-famous Wallenda family will wow audiences once again with their feats of strength, grace, and skill. Lyric Wallenda displays her aerial artistry on the trapeze while husband Simon Arestov amazes with jaw-dropping acrobatics.

Magic and big fun await Fairgoers at the North Gate Entertainment Barn. Corrie J Mentalist will be back with his crowd-favorite comedy hypnosis show and is also debuting an all-new show sure to delight. “It’s All About Music” is far more than a music quiz – the audience gets in on the music and comedy too. There will be prizes! Don’t miss the fun as players compete with their loudest, wildest, most unforgettable performances!

Magic Ben appears at the Fair for the first time with mind-reading, mentalism, magic, and illusions. He’ll keep you laughing while you are being amazed!

New-comer Smilin’ Pete Mystique is another act you won’t want to miss. He promises “magic, mind-reading, mystery, and mischief”. Come see what that’s all about!

Relax in the shade of the Upper Entertainment Garden and enjoy a wide variety of music from new and returning performers. Marty McDermott kicks things off on Thursday evening with local band Side Show Willie on Friday. Saturday’s shows include jazz artists Allen and Azzaam followed by the Tailgate Band. There’s Beer Stained Fiddle and then the Joe Adee Band on Sunday. You may remember Jimmy Mowery from season 16 of The Voice – he will close out the Fair on Monday September 1.

Everyone’s favorite DJ’s Jack Bogarski and Electric Blue Bob Hawley will once again be spinning the tunes in the Pavilion.

The 184th Columbia County Fair is located off Route 66 in Chatham, New York.  Opening day is Wednesday, August 27, at noon. The Fair – “always runs over Labor Day”, and concludes on Monday, September 1. General Admission is $15 and includes parking and all entertainment.  Daily hours are Wednesday: noon to 11PM, Thursday – Monday: 10AM – 11PM.  Seniors Day and Youth Day is Wednesday with special pricing at $5.00 for ALL patrons.  Youth under 18 and active military with ID or in uniform are admitted free that day. Children 12 and under are always free.

Advance tickets are $13 per single day admission and are available online and at the Fair Administration Office until August 26. Advance tickets will also be available for purchase July 1- August 26 at all Bank of Greene County branch offices. There are no advance tickets for Wednesday, August 27.

NEW THIS YEAR! Special Pre-Sale All-Day Ride Passes are available at $25 per day, a savings of $5 when purchased online. Regular daily Ride Passes are available on the grounds during the Fair at the ride ticket booths near the Ferris Wheel. Cost is $30 per day.
