Kids and adults sang, danced and juggled their way into the judges’ hearts on Wednesday, August 31st during the Columbia County Fair’s “Columbia County’s Got Talent” competition.
The duo of Austin and Phoenix Shulkin won the Junior Division, performing a juggling act to “Jafar’s Hour.” Second was Cadence Weiss’s dance routine to “Bully.” Tap dancer Abigail Donnellan took third, followed by Elias Katz, who played guitar and sang Beatles songs.
In the Teen Division, Amara Valerio vocal performance of “House of the Rising Sun” took first place. Second was Hailey Kipp, dancing to “Charmed.” Madison Shulkin and Ruth Kress, singing and playing guitar and mandolin to “The Wagon Wheel,” placed third.
Kathy Jones won the Adult Division with her vocal “Rise Up.” Second was Zachary Davi, singing and playing guitar to “Wanted Dead or Alive.” Third went to Zachary Slaver, singing “Long Black Train.”
